This course is designed for people who hold a Laser Safety Certificate which is more than three years old and therefore no longer valid. It is also designed for therapists who currently use a laser or IPL machine but who do not already hold a Laser Safety Certificate (and therefore not complying with Australian Standards).

This course is also useful for therapists who work within an existing laser clinic and would like to become a Laser Clinic Supervisor.

Finally, this module is for aesthetic business owners who want to ensure their practice will pass safety audits and insurance requirements.

Course Details

During this course, we will examine the tissue interactions with laser and pulsed light technology.

Therapists who may be practicing without a Laser Safety Certificate may find they will not be covered by their insurance policy, which can have an ongoing effect on your business and personal financial situation. Candidates who complete the Laser Safety Certificate will already gain part completion of the SIBBHRS705A Laser Safety Protocols unit, within the Advanced  Diploma (SIB60118) also offered by Australian College of Laser Therapy.
